My week in pictures #79

Sunday, August 3

(From top left) The beautiful view from our cliff top walk. Happy Claire before a family  day out and a walk in the hills - read the post here. Watched 'Sea of Monsters' this weekend - thought it was pretty good but not as good as the first one. New magazines this week to inspire me for autumn fashion. At the pubs, a few drinks in and feeling very happy. This past two weeks I've been addicted to the commonwealth games - what will I do now its over.
Another really good week is over - at the moment my life feels like it is in a pretty good place. On monday I woke to discover mum and dad had decided to take the day off (they are self-employed) and we were going to head up to the hills for a walk. We had a lovely picnic before going for a stroll for a couple of hours. As normal I took my camera to practise with some photography and wrote a blog post about it too.

Again Wednesday was spent at Scotts - we had a really simple bake potato tea and watched the telly. We really aren't a very active couple but sometimes you just need nights in.

On Saturday we decided to be spontaneous and head out to the pubs for a few drinks. Scotts best friend was home from where he is currently based in England. Fate also played a hand in our night and I ran into my best friend - I'd not seen him in ages because he is so busy with work and I'd no idea he was heading out too. I had the best night - infact I can't remember a better night out in my town. Another huge plus point was Scott LOVED my new dress from Diva Dames so I will defiantly have to feature it on my blog soon.

If you fancy seeing what else I got up to during the week please give me a follow on Instagram

Also if you stop by my little blog regularly why not give me a follow on Bloglovin' and that way you will never miss a post. I'm also really close to my next milestone of 300 followers.

  3. Sounds like such a lovely week! I get to go home and see my parents in a few weeks and I'm so excited. I can't wait to spend some time with them and go on a few outings. I really appreciate their company now I don't get it nearly enough!
