My week in pictures #84

(From top left) Family boat trip on the falkirk wheel on Monday. A huge snap fish order for my uni room arrived. I made delicious peppermint squares - a recipe post will follow this week. All my stuff packed into the back of the car for the trip to Aberdeen. Officially a fresher - a week of lost of parties to follow. Did my first solo shop this morning - no one warns you how hard it is to do it alone.
I'm going to do my best to keep this post short and sweet. Last Monday seems like a long time away now but we went to visit the Falkirk Wheel and enjoyed the boat ride too. Then we went to see the Kelpies - which are every bit as amazing as the pictures suggest. I wrote a separate blog post about this day though which you can check out here

Wednesday was spent at Scotts and because I knew it was the last time we would be there together (for a while at least) I'm ashamed to admit I was very emotional when leaving... I'm missing him more than ever right now.

The rest of the week was spent packing my stuff for uni - there is ALOT of things to take which is crazy. On Saturday morning we drove up to Aberdeen which was very very exciting. I did get us a little lost though which didn't make mum very happy. My flatmates all seem really lovely though and my parents only stuck around long enough to help me unpack a few things.

Last night we went out for the first night of freshers. We ended up at a flat party which was pretty cool meeting lots of new people. We went into town too but didn't stay long because we weren't very interested. Feeling a little worse for ware today though.

The only thing we've done today is walk down to lidl to get some shopping. I will put my hands up and admit I've no idea... I couldn't even picked things I liked anymore. I got out of the shop with the ingredients for chicken pies and not spending too much money. I'm away to cook my tea before getting ready to head out tonight.

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend too.
