Trying Out Some Aidance Skincare Products

ThatZit! All-Natural Acne Treatment: £12.50 | Terrasil Itch, Rash & Pain Relief: £26.31
At the start of May Aidance Skincare got in touch to ask if I would like to try some of their products and although I am far from a beauty blogger I was intrigued. I'm never sure where to start with skincare but I do have quite spot prone skin - it can also be quite dry but a heavy moisturiser won't suit me. If you are interested the website is fantastic with information about what is the in the products and how they help.

"ThatZit! is the only acne treatment available that features patented Activated Minerals™, a proprietary blend including Volcanic Clay (Bentonite), Magnesium Oxide and Zinc Oxide. These nutrient rich minerals support the natural production of new, healthy skin cells, skin repair and reduced scarring. ThatZit! also includes all-natural moisturisers and essential oils that provide additional benefits to damaged skin and prevent over drying."

I really like this product - I've tried quite a few different creams that are supposed to be good for spots however none of them have had similar particles mixed in. Similar to a cleanser scrub (although more gentle) it really makes it feel like the cream is getting into your skin rather than sitting on the top.

I've been using it every second day for the past month and do think it helps to keep my skin clear. I've used other products on breakouts though. It has left my skin feeling nice and moisturised when a small amount of cream is used (too much and it becomes cakey). I don't wear foundation everyday but I suspect that the product might not sit well underneath it so it would maybe be better using it at night instead.

Finally I think that £12.50 is a great price for a really good and unique product. You only need a very small amount so the 28g bottle should last me at least two months.

"Terrasil Itch, Rash & Pain Relief is the only itch and rash treatment available that features patented Activated Minerals™, a proprietary blend including Volcanic Clay (Bentonite) and Zinc Oxide. Terrasil’s all-natural moisturizers and essential oils provide additional benefits to dry, damaged skin."

This product really intrigued me on opening because of this think beeswaxy texture. I knew it wasn't for everyday skincare however on days when my skin had been really dry I applied as light a covering as I could all over my face. It helped instantly and my skin was no longer so sore. After an hour I wiped off the excess with a tissue and my skin was lovely and soft.

However I think this product would be much better suited to people with problems like my mum. She gets very dry patches of skin which go hard, cracked and bleed. She had a cream from the doctor which is very harsh and although helps mum doesn't want to use it all the time. When I got home last week I passed the cream onto her and she has been alternating the products and I can see a difference already. The dry patch on her wrist has almost disappeared and the skin is much softer.

You only need such a tiny amount so it 44g tub will last for a long time. A good investment if you have a painful skin problem.

Have you tried any products from Aidance Skincare I'd be interested to know how you get on?
