My week in pictures #132

Sunday, August 9

(From top left) The cushion is from Primark, the bag was from the accessorize sale and the jeans are from the topshop sale. I made cookies (and took photos for a blog post). The farmer has cut down the beautiful barley outside my bedroom window... One of the best chinese takeaways I've had with Scott on Saturday night. We watched Aberdeen win again today on the TV. Scott and I made calzone for tea tonight from scratch - you can see how they turned out on my instagram.
Thankfully this week was less busy than last week so I got time to catch up on a few things and do some blog admin too. It lead to quite a lazy Monday on my laptop but I was fine with that for one day. Tuesday kicked off with another positive driving lesson although I did mess up a few little things this time.

On Wednesday afternoon I got to spend an hour or so looking at the shops in town because mum and dad had a meeting. I fancied some homeware from Primark and came away with this fun cushion for my bed in Aberdeen - I also got this cute bag in the accessorize sale (which I can't find online) and these 3/4 length jean in topshop which are so comfy. I then rushed home to get to Scott's on time because we were making paella for tea. It was delicious and cooking with him is one of my favourite things to do.

Thursday was uneventful but on Friday I decided to have a baking day. In the morning I made treats for my dogs which you can find the recipe for here. Then in the afternoon I made Tanya Burr's perfect cookie recipe. I also took photos of that for a possible blog post next month.

I got to spend the whole day with my favourite person on Saturday - kicking off with a walk down to the beach in the sunshine then into town again for my browse of TK Maxx and Maplin (we are both kinda tech geeks). We then came home for a takeaway - trying somewhere that is reported to be the best in our town and I can certainly see why. We then finished off our night by watching a James Bond movie under the duvet.

Sunday was chilled just like Sundays should be - we went to Tesco to get food, made pizza dough and left it to rise while we watched the Aberdeen game on TV. After that we made calzone for tea which were amazing - still feel all full! Nothing better than good food you've made yourself.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend and ain't dreading Monday too much. Leave me a comment below!
