Simply Scuba - X One Marea Set* | Simply Beach - Paradise Halter Longline Bikini Top* & Bottoms* | Simply Swim - Popsicle Parade Criss Cross Two Piece
On Saturday afternoon Scott and I will be starting the long journey to Vietnam for some much needed Adventure. Our flights are 7 hours and 7.5 hours so I'm understandably anxious but that is overwhelmed by my excited for the experiences we are going to have.

We are flying to Ho Chi Minh City then onto Hoi An a few days later. I've done a ton of research and I thought I would share some of the things that are on my 'bucket list'. Mostly I just want to trip to be chilled without any pressure to see everything.

Go Snorkeling at Cham Islands

A few weeks ago Simply Scuba sent me the X One Marea Set* to try out while we are away. Snorkeling never really caught my attention before but I love swimming in the sea. So, after a bit of research I found Cham Islands is a great place to give it ago and hopefully see some awesome wildlife. This is definitely something that will warrant a post of it's very own once I'm home.

Take in the History at Cu Chi Tunnels

Several people have recommended visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels when we mention going to Ho Chi Minh so it is 100% something we plan to do. The Vietnam war is a subject I know very little about so I'm always interested in learning more. Not to mention seeing a historic place which so physically represents the war.

Try Bahn Mi and Cao Lau in Hoi An

I'm basically excited to try ALL the street food but after a bit of reading I'm especially looking forward to try Cao Lau which is a specialty found only in Hoi An and Bahn Mi which are also supposed to be amazing. Maybe there will even be a whole post about food once I'm back.

Have Drinks in a Roof Top Bar in Ho Chi Minh City

One of the best things when visiting a city is to see it from above and Ho Chi Minh has lots of roof top bar which look so insta-worthy. The perfect end to a busy day in the city watching the sun go down?

Explore Ben Thahn market in Ho Chi Minh City

Another place I want to visit in Ho Chi Minh is Ben Thahn market. It is the cities biggest and most authentic market so even if we aren't buying it will be great for people watching. I'm just a bit worried about having to haggle for things...

Have you ever been to Vietnam? I'd love to know what you thought or any advice you might have.
