Autumnal Layering with Mod Cloth

Wednesday, October 29

Just recently ModCloth got in touch about creating a couple of looks - creating a style board featuring 3 layering items. This was really exciting for two reasons. The first is I am a huge fan of mod cloth clothing (even though I've never purchased anything) and secondly one of my favourite things about the colder months is layering. My university is always roasting but the walk is freezing so layering is a must.

Casual You Need Top in Cobalt | If You Wanna Be My Cover Vest | Granola-Dee-Dah Leggings in Stone | Ambling in Albuquerque Boot | Cozy For Yourself Scarf | Two-Tone to Tango Bag in Navy | Get Your Filament Necklace
I've obsessed with all things 'teddy knit' this autumn so this vest jumped out at me straight away. I bet it would be really cosy too. This slouchy top is a gorgeous colour and will go perfectly with the feel of the vest. When things are so baggy on top it is best to be fitted on your bottom half so I've gone for grey leggings but you could equally go with skinny jeans. A few accessories to tie with outfit together (and keep you warm). These cowboy style boots are amazing too. I would wear all of this everyday to university.

Face the Fox Sweater | Fond Voyage Dress | Topper the Morning Hat in Navy | Concentrate on Concentric Heel | Adventurous Acumen Bag | Layer It On Tights in Navy
This look will be nothing new if you stop by G is for Gingers regularly - I love a pretty dress and knitwear combination. For some reason I've been obsessed with cute foxes on jumpers - I've seen so many but this one if defiantly in the top because of its mustard stripes. The white collar will poke over perfectly and maroon and mustard go together wonderfully. As mustard is such an autumnal colour I've put to outfit together with a few more accessories of a similar colour and a blue fedora.

Thank you so much ModCloth for this opportunity - you should all defiantly check out their great selection of jumpers. I would love to know which look is your favourite? Which one do you think is more me?
