My week in pictures #144

(From top left) It doesn't look like much but the steak casserole I made was yummy with Old el Paso mix. I was suitably impressed with the fireworks on Thursday evening even though it was raining. Ready to go out for the day in St. Andrews on Saturday. My starter at the Glasshouse was delicious - a goats cheese, beetroot and walnut salad.

This past week has been pretty uneventful - we got our exam timetable on Tuesday so the stress for them has really started to kick in. Not to mention a couple of less than good grades but it has made me more determined to work harder.

Scott decided to come and stay on Thursday this week so we could go to the firework display together. Even though it was raining until when they pretty much started we had a great time. Took plenty of pictures of course but I don't really have a plan for them. We came home to a beef casserole I'd made earlier which was the perfect winter warmer after a cold walk.

On Friday I was heading home for the weekend. After plenty of housework in the morning - 50% procrastination and 50% me not wanting to come back to a tip. I drove back in the car with Scott and arrived home to the coal fires on. Early Saturday morning I had a driving lessons which went well. I can now successfully turn in the road and reverse round corners. I'm excited to know what we learn next. 

After my driving lesson we headed to St. Andrews for the day out. It was still pouring however it is a place I love so I wasn't going to let a little rain spoil it. We had a great lunch at the glasshouse and then browsed the shops for a while. 

On Sunday Scott and I took a spontaneous trip to Dundee. We just looked at homewear shops but it got us out for a few hours and made me feel less unwell. After the strictly results show, dinner and then an episode of Sherlock the weekend had finally come to an end. There is never enough time to do everything I want to while I'm home but I still have a nice relaxed time.
