Misty Spring Day with Maroon Florals

Jumper: Primark | Skirt: New Look | Shoes: Newlook

When Scott and I set off for Aberdeen on Saturday the mist was so thick we could hardly see the buildings at the side of the road. It is not surprising in that case that my outfit is looking quite autumnal- we can never quite put away our knitwear for Scottish summers. This skirt was purchased in the New Look christmas sale for a complete bargain however I've only worn it once for far. I decided however that it would go perfectly with my trustworthy maroon jumper from primark.

I'm looking forward to ditching the black tights for good during the summer but mum decided this outfit needed them. I'm also in search of a pair of vans at a reasonable price- any suggestions?

Scott and I had a fab day shopping in Aberdeen but I won't go into much detail because I wrote about it in my week in pictures post. I'm missing him already and he's only been in tenerife a few hours. Hope everyone is having a good week so far- I'm just waiting for the mist to clear.

P.s. Its come to that time of month where I'm looking to renew my advertising so if you would be interested for £2 a month send me a quick email at gisforgingers@hotmail.com and I'll send you over all the info.

  2. Fab combo! The New Look skirt is gorgeous. I love jumper + skirt + sandals, even when it's cloudy. I also live in a misty rainy place.
