Navy and White Stripes with a Red Scarf

Thursday, April 3

Shirt: M&S | Skirt: River Island | Jacket: Eylex & fashion Boots: Marco Tozzi
Last Saturday mum and I went to Dundee shopping. As I mentioned in my week in pictures post I only had 6 hours sleep so this outfit was thrown together without much though. Looking back I am quite pleased how it turned out though so I thought I would share it with you.

I've gone for a casual look because both the skirt and jacket have a very slouchy feel to them. I've had this jacket for years and still love wearing it- it is cotton, so soft and comfy. It is perfect for a spring cover up. I've put on a white kaftan style shirt and a red pashmina because navy and red is a classic right? As always I was way over dressed for the Dundee folk who like to go to primark in joggers but I was to tired to care.

I have been trying to plan another outfit post for when I'm away next week but the pouring rain is making it a little challenging. I'm going out tonight with the fella- maybe a KFC and a movie but we've not planned anything yet (will have to drag myself from my warm duvet first).

  1. I love the combination of navy white & red, it always looks good together. Sometimes an outfit looks better when hastily put together rather than hours of planning and this one definitely works! I have a *giveaway* running on my blog ATM if you fancy a quick look, there's Yankee Candles, Revlon and Accessorize goodies to be had. x
