Another Little Lifestyle Update

Thursday, September 4

If you are regular readers of 'My Week in Pictures' post you will probably know a lot of this but since there are new followers I thought I would plough ahead with a little lifestyle update. Since my world is about to change completely I wanted to keep you all updated. On Saturday I will be moving into university halls with 4 other girls. I've always lived in the same house, the same bed (well after my cot) not to mention being a bit of a country girl. In that case Aberdeen will be a big step - the thought of just being able to walk to anything I could want is a little bit unimaginable. I am really excited though, looking forward to meeting new people and getting new experiences in my life.

I will start studying geology on the 15th of September once freshers week is over. I left school in May 2013 so the past 15 months have basically been a very long holiday. Having some structure back into my life will be good for me. With luck I enjoy my course too.

My boyfriend commutes to Aberdeen for work everyday so hopefully me living away from home won't impact on the time we spend together. While at the moment I'm a little worried about the time I will have to spare during freshers but I'm sure we will find our feet pretty quickly - I'm just sad that we won't have as much time to spend at his house on Wednesday nights.

My blog will NOT change while I'm away. This week I've planned some posts for during freshers week so while I'm busy there will be still content going up. Apart from that the next challenge will be finding a new place to take outfit photos (and maybe someone to help too). I know a lot of bloggers who just fizzle out once uni starts but I'm not going to be one of them - I love my blog too much. Keep an eye out for a baking post and outfit of the day next week. After that I hope to get a room tour and freshers diary done but I would love to know if there are any other uni topics you would like covered please let me know in the comments.

If you are starting university in september I wish you the best of luck too!!!

  1. Good luck! It'll be amazing. Freshers Week can be a bit of a weird one because you don't know anyone, but I would just encourage you to say yes to absolutely everything, and remember that no one else knows anyone else either! Wishing you lots of luck and looking forward to following your uni journey xx
