Pastels for Autumn

Tuesday, November 10

Dress: Lost Stock | Jumper: BritFash* | Boots: JD Williams* (similar) | Handbag: Accessorize
You might remember this dress from 'My Lost Stock Box Five Ways' post back in August and because it arrived too late in the season to get any wear out of it (although I'm sure I will next summer) I wanted to see if I could style it for autumn with some warmer pieces already in my wardrobe.

Long time readers might remember I used to wear this jumper a lot - it was the first item ever gifted to me way back in 2014 but for whatever reason it never made the move from my parents house so has been sitting unloved since I moved out. I knew the pastel, peachy pink would tie in nicely with the lilac of this dress so I dug it out again and I'm so pleased with house it looks.

It might just be suitable for milder autumn days, well in Scotland anyway, but I'm really pleased that a very summery dress can be worn for more of the year. A good pair of boots always helps transition dresses for the season and this fringed pair from JD Williams also add something to the outfit.
