If you've been following my blog for even a few months you'll know I love a rake around the charity shops where I live and picking up a bargain. It's a more sustainable way to add new clothes to your wardrobe and sometimes you pick things up you'd have never found on the high street.

Today I have a new way to shop charity shop - BuyCharity. It is a new UK-based online charity shop with items from charities across the whole country, with all the money spent going to the charity. They offer a range of new, like new and secondhand items, including a wide range of men and women’s clothing.

BuyCharity offered to send me some bits in return for a feature on my blog so I choose these gorgeous Mustard coloured trousers. They were labelled as designer (bonus) and brand new on their website. The photos were good and even showed the tag attached so I could see the RRP and gave pease of mind that they were brand new.

Although they are a summer trouser it's been quite mild so far so I styled them with a long sleeved top (swapped from my Lost Stock box last year) and my trust vegan leather jacket. I'm kind of obsessed with this look now and know I wouldn't have found trousers like these without browsing a charity shop.

As with browsing a physical charity shop it's best to go in with an open mind and know that you don't always find something you love. It's all about going back regularly and getting lucky. That's what I plan to do with BuyCharity's secondhand and vintage clothing from the comfort of my sofa.
