Florals For A Scottish Summer

Dress: Next (via the charity shop) | Heels: F&F at Tesco | Earrings: Ottoman Hands*

Unbelievably (to me anyway) this dress is the first charity shop bargain I've featured on my blog this year. It's feels like I've picked up a lot of them over the past few years and given them new life in my wardrobe. This one I picked up when my Gran look me to her favourite charity shop when we visited in June.

For me this is the perfect style of dress for a typical Scottish summer - it has a cute floral fabric that isn't too thick so I wouldn't be warm if the sun does make an appearance but most importantly it has long sleeves so I won't be chilly. Strappy dresses are great but there are only about two days a year you can actually wear them.

It was a total coincidence that the orange heels I bought from my graduation pick out some of the colours in the dress perfectly and I finished off the outfit with a pair of the earrings I was gifted from Ottoman Hands in a recent blog post.
